You, Me, We and OCD

A psycho-education, support and empowerment group

What is a psycho-education, support and empowerment group?

Group Therapy is a unique kind of therapy where a group of people who are likely experiencing similar challenges in their lives get together to share their difficulties which as a result give and at the same time, receive support from each other. In our OCD support and psycho-education group we will allow space to learn more about the diagnosis of OCD, symptom identification, beneficial tools/skills to consider and space for each member to share and/or offer support to other group members. EMC makes sure to maintain a safe/brave environment that is conducive both for sharing and accepting one another, where each individual can learn and grow while feeling respected and valued.

Group Information

Start Date

Our group will begin on October 1st and will run every Tuesday from there on out (with potential breaks for holidays, etc).

Group participants must be in the state of Illinois.

Time and Cost

Our group will meet virtually at 5:30pm CT to 6:30pm CT.

Cost: $60 a session.

Closed Group

We ask that each participant commit to 6 weeks at first. This is to allow for group members to establish trust and comfort with others.

Each group member will have the option to continue after 6 weeks. If others chose to continue their therapy elsewhere, we will then open the group up to new members.
